PITTSFIELD- SIGNAL & INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT ROUTES 7 & 20 (SOUTH STREET) AT ROUTE 20 (W. HOUSATONIC STREET) & E. HOUSATONIC STREET

This project will install a traffic signal system that will be responsive to vehicles on all intersection approaches. The project will reconstruct sidewalks and wheelchair ramps and update signs and pavement markings. Minor widening will occur at the northbound and southbound approaches of South Street and to the westbound approach of East Housatonic Street. The entire project length is 820 feet on South Street and 490 feet on Housatonic Street.
