Project Description:
BOURNE- SAGAMORE FIRE STATION REPLACEMENT
As part of the the Sagamore rotary transportation improvement project, MassHighway will be functionaly replacing the Town of Bourne Sagamore fire station with a 20,000 sf, 3 story building. The new fire station will be located on Meetinghouse lane on town owned property. This construction will require passage of the Article 97 legislation, typically horizontal construction is required to be overseen by DCAM, however in order to keep to the project schedule it was decided that it would be more efficient if MassHighway oversaw the design and construction.
