Project Description:
SUTTON- BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION, S-33-013, MAIN STREET OVER THE MUMFORD RIVER
The existing structure consists of a single span steel stringer bridge that is structurally deficient and is scheduled to be replaced in the same location with a new single span steel stringer bridge. The proposed bridge will be similar to the existing bridge and will retain essentially the same horizontal alignment and vertical profile. The proposed bridge will accommodate two travel lanes for vehicular traffic with sidewalks on both sides for pedestrian traffic. The work will be staged to maintain vehicular and pedestrian access during construction.
