BUCKLAND- RECONSTRUCTION OF STATE STREET, FROM CLEMENT STREET TO ROUTE 2

The project begins at Clement Street in Buckland and ends at Route 2, a distance of 4000 feet. The project includes milling and removal of existing asphalt down to the binder course or concrete pavement where still present. Joints in the underlying concrete pavement will be repaired as needed. Drainage will be upgraded and curbing will be reset or replaced with granite. Adjacent sidewalks will be reconstructed to ADA compliance. New pavement markings will be applied and guard rail and signs will be updated. The Town has also proposed to do water and sewer system repairs during construction.
