Project Description:
FAIRHAVEN- NEW BEDFORD- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, F-01-002=N-06-001 (EAST & WEST BRIDGES) ROUTE 6 OVER ACUSHNET RIVER & N-06-025, HATHAWAY ROAD OVER ROUTE I-195
The purpose of this project is to increase the lifespan of two bridges in Fairhaven and New Bedford through maintenance. The work includes replacing joints, replacing bearings, cleaning and repairing steel, and repairing concrete and granite piers and abutments for both west and east bridges on Route 6 over the Acushnet River.
