FALL RIVER- FREETOWN- INTERCHANGE CONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 24 (DESIGN-BUILD)

This project proposes to create a new interchange in Freetown Massachusetts, to be known as Interchange 8B, between Exits 8 and 9 on Route 24. The project includes the creation of a new interchange providing for all traffic movements, the relocation of a segment of South Main Street and the creation of a new street, to be known as Executive Parking Drive that will connect South Main Street and Riggenbach Road while connecting the new interchange to the local road network and providing access to the new Fall River Executive Park. This new connection should help to alleviate existing congestion on South Main Street and at Exits 8 and 9.
