The Newburyport/Salisbury Drawbridge is manned 6 AM to 10 PM, May 1 through November 15; Otherwise 1 hr advance notice is needed.
Futhermore, Memorial day to Labor Day, the bridge opens only on the hour and the half hour.
The Plum Island Drawbridge requires 1 hour advance notice April 1 through November 30, 5 AM TO 9 PM; otherwise 3 hours advance notice is needed. The Essex Merrimack, Rocks Village and Haverhill/Groveland Drawbridges require 2 hour advance notice for openings. (as of 07/30/2008) |
