Project Description:
EASTON- RECONSTRUCTION & IMPROVEMENTS AT ROUTE 106 AND ROUTE 123 (FIVE CORNERS)
The improvements associated with this project include the installation of a new fully actuated traffic signal system with appropriate phasing and timing for peak hour demands. Foundry Street will be widened to provide a second exclusive left-turn lane eastbound and one exclusive left-turn lane westbound. Bay Road, to the north of the intersection, will be relocated approximately 100 feet to the northeast to provide additional vehicle storage between the intersections and to provide a 90 degree intersection. Existing traffic signal systems, pavement markings and signs will also be upgraded to meet with the proposed design.
