NORTHAMPTON- ADDITIONS AND RENOVATIONS TO ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

Work consists of additions and renovations at the MassDOT - Highway Division District 2 Administration building. Work includes adding office space above the existing warehouse, converting existing warehouse space into offices, creating a training facility/auditorium, constructing a new addition adjacent to the existing garage for supplies storage, and construction of 2 garage bays for BridgeMaster bridge inspection vehicles. The work also includes new parking spaces, construction of a new elevator, conversion of the existing auditorium into offices and various ADA compliant building upgrades. Related work includes the removal of existing walls, fences and windows, concrete cutting and demolition, patching existing masonry walls, construction of permanent metal frame walls, installation of new drop ceilings, installation of new vinyl tile, seamless epoxy flooring and carpeting, installation of movable partitions, installation of new heating and cooling system, installation of lighting, light switches and electrical outlets, installation of telephones, wiring, and jacks compatible with existing system, and installation of new audio and video conferencing and training equipment.
