Project Description:
BOSTON- BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION, B-16-196, MORRISSEY BOULEVARD OVER MOUNT VERNON STREET (AKA - LECH WALESA BRIDGE) & REHAB OF B-16-459 (AKA PATTEN'S COVE) DCR
The existing bridge was constructed in 1984 and has experienced significant deterioration. The bridge will be rehabilitated with concrete composite steel stringers to minimize the roadway profile increase. The proposed rehabilitation will utilize the existing abutments and maintain the current 4 lanes and overall width of the bridge.
