Project Description:
FALL RIVER- BRIDGE BETTERMENT, F-02-041, HIGHLAND AVENUE OVER ROUTE 24 (SB)
The work for the Highland Avenue Northbound over Route 24 Southbound project shall consist of removing and replacing the reinforced concrete deck, cleaning and painting the structural steel, removing and replacing the existing joints, removing and replacing deteriorated stiffeners, cleaning and patching deterioration on the concrete surfaces of the abutments and walls, cleaning the graffiti off the bridge, removing the existing safety walk and safety curb, placing concrete barriers over the existing through girders for use as new bridge rail, and placing highway guardrail transitions.
