Project Description:
CHESTER- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, C-11-020, GEORGE MILLER ROAD OVER THE MIDDLE BRANCH OF THE WESTFIELD RIVER
The proposed project will relocate the new structure on new abutments upstream of the existing bridge by approximately 25 feet. The new structure will consist of precast concrete box beams with an asphalt riding surface and new bridge rail. The proposed span length is 85 feet and the width is 16 feet. The roadway approaches will be modified as necessary and safety upgrades will be made with guardrail, bridge rail transitions, the approach rail and terminal ends.
