WEST BROOKFIELD- RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 9, ROUTE 67 & INTERSECTIONS AT SCHOOL STREET

This project involves work on town-owned School Street and its continuation as Church Street along with the intersections at Route 9, Route 67, and New Braintree Road. The total project length is approximately 0.40 miles. The project includes the realignment and reconfiguration of the Route 9, Route 67, and New Braintree Road intersections with School Street/Church Street along with the reconstruction and minor widening of School Street. The work will include new granite curbing, signing, pavement markings, drainage improvements and sidewalks with pedestrian crossings and wheelchair ramps. The existing town layout appears to be adequate for the proposed work.
