MARLBOROUGH- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 85 (MAPLE STREET)

The proposed project will consist of full depth roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, new sidewalk construction, the re-alignment of Framingham Road, and enhanced bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. Other items will include new traffic signal systems, minor drainage system and utility adjustments, improved roadway signage, enhanced crosswalks, landscaping and pavement delineation/striping for vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians traveling through the Maple Street corridor. The project limits are between the Southborough Town Line and John Street. The project length is approximately 6,175 linear feet (1.17 miles).
