ERVING- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 2 (ERVING CENTER) FROM MM 62.9 TO MM 63.9
The project involves intersection/roadway alignment improvements, sidewalks, pavement markings and signage along state-owned Route 2 from the parking area near MM 62.9 to the easterly end of Prospect Street, MM 63.9 in Erving. Potential improvements include lowering the vertical curve on Route 2 between Mountain Road and North Street, geometric and sight distance improvements at various intersections, traffic calming measures, new sidewalks with redesigned crosswalks, and possibly the construction of traffic signals and a dedicated left turn lane in the village center at North Street.
