Project Description:
ATHOL- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, A-15-033, A-15-034, ROUTE 2 OVER SOUTH ATHOL & WHITE POND ROAD
The work for the bridge carrying Route 2 over South Athol Road as well as the bridge carrying Route 2 over White Pond shall consist of widening and reconstructing the bridge and approach wearing surface; replacing the reinforced concrete deck slab, structural steel beams and diaphragms, bearings; providing new bearing pads; upgrading the bridge rail; upgrading the approach guard rail; and repairing and modifying the existing substructure for the new bearings and beams.
