Project Description:
SOUTH HADLEY- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, S-18-015, ROUTE 202 OVER BARDWELL STREET & S-18-016, ROUTE 202 OVER ROUTE 116
The proposed work will consist of replacing the bridge decks on two adjacent bridges on US Route 202 over Bardwell St. and Route 116 (Newton St). The work also includes grading and paving of the approaches, replacement of guardrail and bridge rail, and minor repairs to the abutments. The work will be done in stages so that one lane of travel in each direction will be maintained during construction.
