BRIDGEWATER- RECONSTRUCTION OF NORTH STREET, FROM PLEASANT STREET (ROUTE 104) TO VILLAGE GATE DRIVE

The purpose of this project is to reconstruct North Street from Pleasant Street to Village Gate Drive. The project will involve full depth reconstruction of North Street with approximately a four foot widening. A new sidewalk will be constructed on the east side of the roadway in order to provide pedestrian access to the new high school. Granite edging will be installed on the east side, and hot mix asphalt berm will be installed on the west side. A new closed drainage system will be provided to convey the storm water from North Street. The North Street /Pleasant Street intersection will be reconfigured to a more perpendicular approach.
