NORTH ADAMS- DOWNTOWN STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS

The purpose of this project is to make selective improvements to the following areas within the downtown business district; Center Street, American Legion Drive, Main Street, Hoosic River Bridge, Holden Street, Eagle Street (Main Street to Church Street), Route 2, Marshall Street, Eagle Street (Route 2 to Hoosic River) and River Street. The Improvements include: pavement overlays, minor drainage improvements, sidewalk and ramp accessibility Improvements, decorative pavement treatments adjacent to sidewalks, and landscaping. This project will also provide major improvements to five of the traffic signals: State St/ Main Street, Main Street/American Legion Drive, Marshall Street/Anthony's Drive, Main Street/Ashland Street and Marshall Street/River Road Intersections.
