Project Description:
PHILLIPSTON- BRIDGE BETTERMENT, P-09-005, HIGHLAND AVENUE OVER ROUTE 202/ROUTE 2
The work for the Highland Avenue Bridge shall consist of reconstructing the bridge and approach wearing surface; removing and replacing the reinforced concrete deck slab; upgrading the bridge rail; upgrading the approach guard rail; eliminating the joints over the north and south piers; checking the existing beam cover plates for fatigue and provide modifications as needed; repairing the existing substructure; and cleaning and painting the structural steel.
