Project Description:
COLRAIN- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, C-18-005, ROUTE 112 OVER NORTH RIVER
The work for the bridge carrying Route 112 over the North River in Colrain shall consist of replacing the open steel gratings and purlins system with an 8” thick deck slab, removing deteriorated stringers, adding plates; increasing the load capacity as it is required per design for HS-20 truck loading; performing various superstructure and substructure repairs, stripping and painting the steel, and upgrading the approach guard rail.
