Project Description:
BARRE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, B-02-005, ROUTE 122 OVER PRINCE RIVER
The work for the Route 122 Bridge over Prince River shall consist of replacing the bridge steel stringers, concrete deck, and wearing surface. The new steel stringers will be galvanized for long term protection. Upgrading the bridge rail to a crash tested steel railing system and improving the drainage along the bridge and approaches are also included in this project. Existing deteriorated steel bearings will be replaced by new neoprene type bearings. Cracks and spalled areas at the existing concrete abutments will also be repaired.
