Project Description:
LEOMINSTER- BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION & RAMP IMPROVEMENTS, L-08-024, ROUTE 12 OVER ROUTE 2 (EB & WB)
The work for the Route 12 over Route 2 bridge shall consist of reconstructing the bridge and approach wearing surface; replacing the superstructure and bearings; replacing the approach slab; upgrading the bridge rail; upgrading the approach guard rail; modifying the center pier and the existing abutments for the new proposed superstructure and minimum clearance requirement; adjusting the roadway profile for the vertical clearance increase; modifying the existing ramps that remain and removing the existing ramps from Route 2 westbound to Route 12 and from Route 12 northbound to Route 2 eastbound; adding a modified ramp from Route 12 northbound to Route 2 Westbound; providing signals at north and south approach to the bridge.
