WESTFIELD- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 10/202

The project consists of cold planing and resurfacing two sections of Route 202 in Westfield. Section 1 is a state-owned route, it begins at the Dion Way intersection, a distance of 200 feet north of mile marker 11.7 and proceeds northerly to the North Road intersection, 260 feet north of mile marker 14.4; the length of this section is 14,300 feet (2.71 miles). Section 2 of Route 202 is a municipally-owned route; it begins at this intersection and continues to mile marker 15.9 for a distance of 7,660 feet (1.45 miles). The project also consists of milling 2" from the existing roadway surface, applying tack coat and resurfacing with 2" of HMA Modified Top Course. New pavement markings and temporary traffic controls for construction operations will be included.
