AMHERST- NORTHAMPTON- SOUTHAMPTON- SIDEWALK & WHEELCHAIR RAMP CONSTRUCTION ON ROUTES 5, 9, & 10

The work for this project will consist of constructing new sidewalks and wheelchair ramps in the following 4 locations: on the south side of Route 9 in Amherst from the Hadley Town Line to Snell Street and on the north side of Route 9 from the Hadley Town Line to University Drive, on the west side of Route 5/10 in Northampton from Bridge Road to Pine Brook Street and on the west side of Route 10 in Southampton from the Southampton fire station to the gas station just south of Clark Street. Other proposed work will include improvements to pedestrian accommodations, driveway reconstruction, pavement markings and crosswalks, and new signage.
