Project Description:
HINGHAM- IMPROVEMENTS ON ROUTE 3A, FROM OTIS STREET/COLE ROAD INCLUDING SUMMER STREET AND ROTARY, ROCKLAND STREET TO GEORGE WASHINGTON BOULEVARD
The work under this Contract consists of improvements along Route 3A, from the vicinity of the Broad Cove Road/Otis Hill Road intersection to the vicinity of the Rockland Street/George Washington Boulevard intersection, a distance of approximately 8,800 feet. The work includes roadway widening and pavement improvements; roadway intersection and access improvements; pedestrian and bicycle accommodation and accessibility improvements; roadway retaining wall construction; drainage system improvements; granite curb and hot mix asphalt berm installations; highway guardrail, signage and pavement marking installations; traffic signal system reconstruction (4 locations); landscaping, and other incidental work.
