Project Description:
FLORIDA- SAVOY- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, F-05-005=S-06-010, ROUTE 2 OVER THE COLD RIVER
The work for the Route 2 Bridge over the Cold River shall consist of reconstructing the approach wearing surface; removal and replacement of the reinforced concrete deck slab; removal and replacement of the existing spirals; upgrading the bridge rail; upgrading the approach guard rail; provide Strip seal joint over westerly abutment and saw cut at the easterly abutment; removal and replacement of the broken connection angles and diaphragms; removal and replacement of the rocker bearings with new reinforced elastomeric bearing pads; Repair the beam ends, add plates as required; repair the existing substructure ; clean (overcoat) and paint the structural steel bottom flange as well as the ends for 10’-0”.
