CHICOPEE- SOUTH HADLEY- RESURFACING, CONCRETE REPAIRS & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 33 (MEMORIAL DRIVE)

The proposed pavement preservation will consist of concrete and asphalt surface pavements. The asphalt preservation consists of a functional overlay with a milling and overlay 1 ½” Superpave Surface Course 12.5 (SSC-12.5) over 1 ¼” micro-milling. Some localized pavement repairs to the existing pavement will be made prior to resurfacing. The concrete pavement consists of concrete pavement repairs (CPR): full and partial depth concrete repairs, joint resealing, crack sealing, joint and surface spall repair, diamond grinding and asphalt shoulder seal. Other work includes the wire loop replacement, pavement markings and traffic management.
