Project Description:
TAUNTON- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, T-01-015, WASHINGTON STREET (SR 140) OVER THE MILL RIVER
The proposed bridge consists of replacing the existing two-span continuous steel stringer bridge carrying Washington Street over the Mill River in Taunton with a single span precast concrete beams superstructure. The existing abutments will be utilized if possible or integral abutments will be constructed behind the existing abutments. The proposed bridge, as per town request, shall be investigated with four eleven foot lanes, compared to the existing two lanes.
