SPRINGFIELD- BRIDGE DECK & JOINT REPAIR, S-24017 & S-24-071, SAINT JAMES AVENUE OVER I-291 (ABP-PR6)

The work to be done under this contract consists of preparing structural repair designs and furnishing various artisans (iron workers, mechanics, welders, carpenters, laborers, operators, masons) and materials, supplies, equipment and engineering services to perform bridge preservation work including; non routine structural maintenance to include bridge expansion joint replacement, bridge saw & seal joint replacement, structural steel repairs, concrete deck, sidewalk, backwall and parapet repairs, pavement milling and bituminous concrete wearing surface replacement on bridge decks and emergency repairs to various structures within District Two. The Contractor shall be notified of scheduled repair work formally by work order or verbal directions by the Engineer. The work order or verbal direction will identify the location and nature of the work.
