AUBURN- WORCESTER- INTERSTATE MAINTENANCE & RELATED WORK ON I-395 & I-290

This project consists of resurfacing two sections of I-290 and I-395 in Auburn and Worcester. The first section starts at the Oxford / Auburn town line (I-395 mm 9.8±) and proceeds north to the junction of I-395 and I-290 (I-395 mm 11.8± / I-290 mm 0.0±) and then proceeds east to a pavement joint (I-290 mm 1.2±), which is located in the vicinity of the Swanson Road Bridge over I-290. The second section starts at a pavement joint (I-290 mm 2.8±), which is located just west of the Auburn / Worcester town line and proceeds east to the I-290 Bridge over the Providence and Worcester Railroad (I-290 mm 3.7±). The total length of this project is approximately 5.7 miles. The limits of work also include the ramps at Exits 6A, 6B, 7, 8, 9 and 10, as well as the portion of Auburn Street in Auburn between the on and off ramps at Exit 9.
