Project Description:
WESTFORD- INTERSECTION & SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS AT ROUTE 110 (LITTLETON ROAD) & ROUTE 225 (CONCORD ROAD)
The Town of Westford is proposing to widen approximately 3,000 feet of Littleton Road (Route 110). The existing cross section contains one lane in each direction with an additional left turn lane for approximately 400 feet. The proposed roadway will be widened to provide a cross section with two lanes in each direction with an additional left turn lane for approximately 900 feet. Three (3) new traffic signals will be installed at the intersection of Route 110 with: (1) Concord Road (Route 225 W) (2) #310 Littleton Road Site Driveway (3) Concord Road (Route 225 E). The project will also include landscaping improvements and pedestrian connections with a new sidewalk being constructed for the entire length of the corridor.
