Project Description:
NORTHAMPTON- IMPROVEMENTS ON JACKSON STREET (SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL), INCLUDING NEW BIKEWAY RAMP
The purpose of this project is to improve access to the Jackson Street School by constructing new sidewalks, constructing a new access ramp to the nearby bikepath, installing 4' chain link fence at school perimeter, constructing geometric improvements (traffic calming) to the school driveway, and installing new signs and striping new centerline, edge lines (to 10' lane width) and crosswalks.
