Project Description:
HUBBARDSTON- SUPERSTRUCTURE REPLACEMENT, H-24-004, BURNSHIRT ROAD OVER BURNSHIRT RIVER
The new superstructure structure shall be designed using the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and the Department’s Bridge Manual with the LRFD Bridge Design Guidelines. The bridge is to be replaced with a single span superstructure on existing abutments. The superstructure system anticipated is the precast pre-stressed NEXT Beams with an 8 inch HP 4000psi concrete deck and 3½ inch HMA wearing surface. The existing abutment beam seats are to be removed and re-cast to accommodate the new superstructure using the Bridge Manual details.
