Project Description:
DARTMOUTH- IMPROVEMENTS ON GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC HIGHWAY (U.S. ROUTE 6) AND FAUNCE CORNER ROAD
This project is the first phase of corridor improvements on Route 6 and Faunce Corner Road. Work on this project consists of traffic signal upgrades and geometric improvements at the intersection of Rte 6/Faunce Corner Road/Old Westport Road and Faunce Corner Road with the Mall Drive. Corridor improvements on Faunce Corner Road from the Route 6 intersection to the Mall Drive intersection are included in project. The project will improve safety and operation on the corridor as well as pedestrian and bicycle accommodation. Also included are updated traffic signs, pavement markings and drainage improvements. The next phase will include realigning Tucker Road with Hathaway Road and Route 6 as well as improvements on the Route 6 corridor.
