Project Description:
CARVER: FAP# STP-002S(743)X ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION AND RELATED WORK (INCLUDING SIGNALS) ALONG A SECTION OF ROUTE 58 (MAIN STREET) (606007)
This project involves the resurfacing of Route 58 (Main Street) from South Meadow Road to Purchase Street and related work. Related work includes realigning the intersection of 58/West Street/Meadowbrook Way to a 4-way intersection. Also, a pedestrian signal is proposed to be moved from its existing location on 58 between Center Street and West Street to the Route 58/West Street intersection. Other proposed work includes rehabilitation of drainage structures, new sidewalk extensions and replacement of guardrail, signage and pavement markings.
