ATHOL- PETERSHAM- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 32, FROM 1 MILE NORTH OF ROUTE 101 TO ROUTE 2/ROUTE 32 BRIDGE

Work for the Route 32 Resurfacing project in Athol and Petersham will consist of milling the existing paved surface and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt pavement course modified top. Work will also include replacing subdrains, replacing or repairing other drainage structures as needed, replacing signs and guardrail as needed, repairing hot mix asphalt berm, repairing granite curb and edging, and applying new pavement markings. The project limits are as follows: Route 32 from one mile north of Popple Camp Road (Route 101) in Petersham to the Route 2/Route 32 bridge in Athol (MM 44.900 to MM 48.773). The project limits include the eastbound access ramps to Route 2/202 for a distance of approximately 150 feet.
