LENOX- RECONSTRUCTION & MINOR WIDENING ON WALKER STREET

This project will reconstruct and widen 1.55 miles of municipally owned roadway, including sidewalk reconstruction. The existing roadway (width varies 24-28 feet) will be widened to a uniform 30 feet (11 ft lanes with 4 ft shoulders). A project-length ADA compliant sidewalk will be achieved by reconstructing existing sidewalks and constructing new sidewalk where none currently exists. Drainage repairs/upgrades will target improving sub-grade and surface water runoff. The culvert over Woods Crossing Brook will be replaced. New traffic signs and markings will also be included.
