SOUTH HADLEY- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 202, FROM DOUGLAS STREET TO ROUTE 33

(Replaced #606009) This project involves resurfacing and related work on a section of Route 202 in South Hadley. The project begins at the intersection with Douglas Street, Sta. 72+00, and proceeds northerly to the Route 33 intersection, Sta. 70+55, for a total project length of 4,497 feet (0.85 miles). The work will consist of milling the existing pavement and resurfacing with hot mix asphalt; removing and resetting sections of granite curb and edging; replacing hot asphalt curb; adjusting and rebuilding existing drainage structures; cleaning drainage structures and pipes; new pavement markings and slotted pavement markers; constructing new wheelchair ramps, reconstructing driveways and sidewalks; tree trimming; erosion & sedimentation control; and other incidental items as necessary.
