Project Description:
ATTLEBORO- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, A-16-053, I-95 (NB & SB) OVER NORTH AVENUE
The proposed work for both bridges shall consist of removing the existing bridge superstructures and substructure and replacing with new superstructures and substructure complete with new decks and barriers. The new superstructures shall accommodate three lanes of traffic in their respective directions. The new structures will not feature sidewalks. The bridge rails shall be type CF-PL3 modified with the Type II Protective Screens. Four highway guardrail transitions shall be located at the corners of each bridge. Approximately 100 feet of the existing approach roadways shall be milled and paved on both sides of the bridges.
