Project Description:
SOMERVILLE- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, S-17-031, I-93 NB AND SB FROM ROUTE 28 TO TEMPLE STREET
The project scope will include replacement of the northbound and southbound viaduct expansion joints including ramps; replacement of northbound and southbound median and outside fascia barriers.

    Current Status: Construction activities continue to progress from north to south along the length of the viaduct. Activities include concrete pier demolition/repairs and diaphragm demolition. This work will continue until the end of February, and start up again in the Spring of 2024. (as of 02/06/2024)
