Project Description:
GREENFIELD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, G-12-052 (0XR) & G-12-053 (0XT), I-91 (NB & SB) OVER BMRR
The proposed work for Bridge Nos. G-12-052 (0XR) and G-12-053 (0XT) shall consist of removing the existing bridge superstructures and replacing with new superstructures complete with new decks and barriers. The new superstructures shall accommodate two lanes of traffic in their respective directions. The new structures will not feature sidewalks. The bridge rails shall be type CF-PL3 modified with the Type II Protective Screens. Four highway guardrail transitions shall be located at the corners of each bridge. Approximately 100 feet of the existing approach roadways shall be milled and paved on both sides of the bridges.
