BOSTON- FIBER CONNECTION BETWEEN BOSTON EMS & TO THE MASSACHUSETTS EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION FIBER OPTIC NETWORK (METFON)
MassDOT was awarded a grant from EOPSS for $7,032,000 for the Massachusetts Emergency Transportation Fiber Optic Network (METFON) project. This project is one of five construction projects that link various transporation operations control centers with fiber optics.
