Project Description:
DANVERS- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, D-03-013, ROUTE 35 (WATER STREET) OVER WATERS RIVER
(Replaces original #601918). A longer 2-span bridge totaling 138 feet will replace the existing Waters Street over Waters River culvert at its present location. The new bridge opening will be 3 times larger than the existing opening to improve tidal flushing and prevent upstream tidal backups. The width of roadway will be maintained and the sidewalk replaced.
