WEYMOUTH- BRAINTREE- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 3

The resurfacing project begins at STA 238+50 (MM-38.2) in Weymouth and follows the mainline of Route 3 northerly through Weymouth into Braintree ending at STA 457+00 (MM-42.3). The south bound end of project starts at STA 457+00 (MM-42.3) and continues southerly through Braintree into Weymouth and ends at STA 238+50 (MM 38.2). The 6 lanes on the mainline and the median and breakdown shoulders shall be included. The exit and entrance ramps at Union Street shall also be included; however the circle under Route 3 at Union Street will not be included. The entrance and exit ramps at Route 18 / Main Street clover leaf shall be included. The total project length will be approximately 4.14 miles-(8.28 miles North and South Route 3). The ADT is approximately 125,000 vpd.
