CHARLTON- SOUTHBRIDGE- RESURFACING & RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 169, FROM ROUTE 20 TO 400 FEET SOUTH OF VINTON STREET

This project consists of resurfacing Route 169 in Charlton and Southbridge. The southern limit is 400 feet south of Vinton Street in Southbridge (mm 5.0 ±). The northern limit is Route 20 in Charlton (mm 9.1 ±). The total length of this project is approximately 4.1 miles. The scope of work includes: micromilling and resurfacing the mainline; installing recessed polyurea pavement markings throughout the project; clearing and grubbing to re-establish clear zones; replacing sidewalks and wheelchair ramps as necessary; adjusting, rebuilding, and remodeling drainage structures; and replacing all frames and grates with cascade style hook-lock frames and grates.
