Project Description:
NEW BEDFORD- CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED WORK ON KINGS HIGHWAY, FROM CHURCH STREET TO THE KINGS HIGHWAY BRIDGE (N-06-036) OVER ROUTE 140
This project is proposed to address ongoing safety and congestion issues due to the lack of roadway capacity and left turn lanes at several key inter-sections. Traffic signal improvements are also planned at 4 intersections. In addition, the project will provide improved bicycle and pedestrian access.
