MONTGOMERY- RUSSELL- BRIDGE PRESERVATION, M-30-008=R-13-018 (4GT), I-90 OVER US 20, WESTFIELD RIVER & CSX RR

The proposed work for this project shall consist of repairs in the deck truss spans (spans 6 and 7) of the bridge. The deck truss repairs include replacing plates in various areas of the top and bottom chords, diagonals, and vertical posts. The repairs will also include gusset plate reinforcing as well as the replacement of rivets with high strength bolts in the location of the repairs. All proposed members will be primed and painted and the existing connecting surfaces will be cleaned and painted.
