Project involves the resurfacing of Route 1. The limit of work begins at approximately mm 49.95 in Chelsea and extends northerly into the Saugus and ends at approximately mm 55.0. The total project length is approximately 5.0 miles. A High friction surface treatment will be applied on the section of roadway called the Chelsea Curves.
