Project Description:
WILLIAMSTOWN- MOHAWK BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN TRAIL CONSTRUCTION
This proposed off-road bike/ped path would connect Route 7 (near Syndicate Rd) to Route 2 (near Galvin Rd). The preferred alignment for the path roughly follows the southern bank of the Hoosic River. The proposed cross-section would consist of a 10-ft wide paved surface with 2-ft graded shoulders on each side. The existing terrain consists of open fields, 100-yr floodplain, some wetlands, and out-lying suburban areas.
